Ref: 0000450 "Dragon" box set
This beautiful box, crafted by an Italian artisan workshop and lined with burgundy velvet, includes a goose quill pen mounted on a pewter facing decorated with a dragon, a 30 ml bottle of black ink with a nib holder, a "Dragon" stopper and six writing nibs.
Box dimensions 14.5 x 31 x 8 cm.
The box is made of strong cardboard, quite durable; it is held closed by a burgundy leather cord.
Made in Italy.
Hieroglyphics Tips and Tricks
How to prepare new metal nibs before use :
- never flame new feathers.
- place them for 10 minutes in a bowl of boiling water with a drop of dishwashing liquid and a spoonful of coarse salt.
- stir everything well
- rinse with clean water
- dry the feathers very carefully with a hair dryer
- do not let them dry only in the air.
