This illumination paint is manufactured using a rigorous process to ensure its quality. Its formulation, derived from medieval grimoires, is made from natural raw materials, with a focus on authenticity that respects the spirit of ancient illuminations.
The mixture, based on gum water, honey water, egg, and pure pigments, gives it its characteristic smoothness. Its astonishing texture, somewhere between watercolor and liquid ink, allows for beautiful creations in washes and mixed techniques.
It is 100% opaque.
It can be used with a pen, a reed pen, a brush, pure or as a wash.
These Illumination inks are miscible with each other.
There are 23 different shades, including 3 metallic ones.
The cap of each bottle is covered with "Gold" sealing wax.
30 ml glass bottle.
The bakelite stopper is sealed with "Gold" wax.
THIS TYPE OF INK SHOULD NOT BE USED WITH A FOUNTAIN PEN.
These inks are tested and validated by Hieroglyphes.
