Ref: 0006274 "Empire" set and goose feather

This very elegant pewter set, with a bronze finish, is dedicated to Napoleon I.
The top features a crowned Imperial Eagle, whose body and head are carved in relief. A very simple stand can be used to hold a quill pen or a pen holder.
The small, square-based writing instrument is closed by a beautiful flapper decorated with the imperial N, the crown and laurel leaves. The ink is contained in a small cavity in the body of the inkwell, which can be seen in the main photo of the inkwell.
The "Vert Empire" pewter quill pen, bronze finish, is decorated with the Imperial Eagle and an armful of leaves and flowers.
